What is too hard for power feeding?
That guy you're asking, @JC, posted about power feeding "too hard" almost 14 years ago. He hasn't been around for a while, maybe 2000 years or so. Therefore, maybe you would permit me to answer for him.

It's a good idea to feed very small slings very well, and usually feeding whatever they will finish eating completely within a day or so of adding a feeder item will not be overfeeding. In other words, it's hard to overfeed very small slings.

That changes when the spider gets older and larger. Slow-growing species like G. pulchra can easily become too fat, which puts them at greater risk for injury, rupturing the abdomen or abrading the fat abdomen that may drag on the ground. Look at the size of the abdomen to judge how much to feed. If you're uncertain what a well-proportioned and reasonably fed G. pulchra looks like, then post photos. People here will gladly tell you when to feed more or less. Getting advice here works really well. In fact, it works so well that I might consider posting a photo of my own abdomen some time... just not right now, because I want to go eat some tiramisu. 🎂 👍
