I just got done getting rid of the source of the fruit flies, but it's hard getting rid of the rest buzzing around. I have just created this trap using the apple vinegar trap where you use apple cider vinegar with a touch a soap and just the fruit flies kill themselves feeding from it. I don't know how well this trap works since I just created it. But does anyone knows if this method is effective? And does anyone have any other easy alternatives of traps as well? I would like to hear if you guys used this trap method with success.

this trap does work.
It works a little better with a piece of cling wrap with holes poked in it on top.
It keeps them from being able to fly out as easily once they've entered the trap.

You'll get them more quickly if you throw a small piece of banana in.

That's great to hear. I hope I can deal with these annoyances within the next few days as my T.'s seem fine with them buzzing around, but I cannot stand them for sure.

It works really well ! I googled homemade fruit fly trap and that was the first thing that came up and it works better if you make a few of them and spread them around.
