i am considering getting a frilled dragon (chlamydosaurus kingii), and i was wondering iof anyone had any tips and/or experiences. like if there's anything special in their care (besides the enclosure an adult would need).

I had a bay for a while, VERY rewarding animals to keep! I kept mine in a 75g (it had LOTS of room) but you could keep a baby in a 20 long I bet. I had a 5.0 uva/uvb on it, not sure if it NEEDED it but it certainly cant hurt. A nice hot basking spot of 110ish on the high side, average ambient temps, moderately humid, big water dish. They love to climb, lots of driftwood to mess around on. Also, if you spray it with anything aside from water, dont get it behind the frill, it could dry and stick. Amazing critters to keep!

Kingsnake.com has a message board/forum on frilled dragons that would more than likely help you out quite a bit. You should check it out if you haven't already.
