Call me crazy...but am I out of line to call you crazy for holding a CB?

I didn't think a lot of keepers tried that.

Very attractive spider, cobalts rock!

no you are not. it wasnt my idea, it was hers. and i must say it was a terifying experience. although i dont thhink her fangs were fully hardened yet, so maybe that is part of why i was not bitten.

and i wasnt able to sex it, as the molt was destroyed. oh well.

You wouldn't catch me trying to handle a cobalt :) Much more attitude than I'm ready to handle. Like a bright blue OBT LOL

Dude that spider is beautiful, but I was wondering: how much did it cost and where can you find them?

This would all depend on where you live. If you had filled out your profile details... I'd already have answered you. ;)

should be extremely easy to obtain almost any exotic in Florida, as that's where they are mostly imported into.

Check out the dealer reviews forum and you will have a variety of tarantula breeders/dealers to peruse from. I would think that almost all would have H. lividum, some may have larger specimens to choose from.

This is not a beginner spider however.

Thank you whyte. And fraze I say Daytona Beach coz everybody knows where that is and nobody knows what Holly Hill is. If you blink, you miss this place. Except for Clay's crib =P
