I hope someone can help me! This is my first time keeping rainbow staghorn beetles and my boy Squee just shed his pupae about 4 days ago. He keeps laying on his back like this. Should I be worried?? Also how long should I expect the dormancy period to last before he eats?

Looks really dry in there, try adding some moisture. Gently flip him over, make sure his wings have successfully enclosed under the elytra.

I am misting the substrate in the mornings and evenings, deeper down there is more moisture. I have flipped him over every day, and his wings and elytra look healthy, he was stretching them out on day 2 just before he started doing this.

Wings are also fully enclosed

At this point I would move him into an enclosure with damp sphagnum moss, this way he doesn't keep flipping over.

Squee keeps Rolling down hill, landing on His Back

Level Surfaces may help.

I did a mixture of sphagnum and coco fiber. Does this look okay for now?
You want to use mostly sphagnum moss to keep the humidity up, as well as providing something to grab onto so he stops flipping over. A level surface without things to grab onto is not ideal for keeping rhino/stag beetles.
