Laughing is a form of response to emotional stimuli that is just short of crying. That which surprises, transgresses or offends is often funny by those merits alone.

Nothing is too sacred for humor. One does not need to keep a straight face to show that they are morally opposed to something. That is simply societal conditioning and a desire to show how amazingly moral we are.

The picture is sick. It reflects a cruel facet of the human psyche. It is also very funny.

A man is driving through the desert and sees a boy crying near a burning car at the bottom of a cliff...

Are you being serious or sarcastic as can be? :?

If someone gave me something like that I'm not quite sure how I'd react. It would probably depend on the carcass. {D

I was serious when I said 236260's post had been deep and profound and got me thinking a bit:clap: BUT :} I was being sarcastic when I said I already knew what I'd be getting my "future" in-laws for christmas because we hardly get along and I hate to stay in their beach house every christmas:8o LOL but I think I might be able to win them over with that chupacabra one, you know something native{D hahaha I hope you're laughing by now because i'm LMAO, and c'mon I'm just kidding they'll have to accept sooner or later the fact that I'm missing my country and family and I want her to come back with me, so no I'm not seriously considering buying those as christmas gifts although it'd be very amusing:} but that really won't help my case at all so I'll settle for something else that's pretty and nice:)

Yes, I nearly tipped over with my chair when I got to the chupacabra part. {D

Hey, why not take your fiance' to Germany for Christmas? It'll help you being homesick (for a while), and you'll avoid the future in-laws. ;) Then, when you come back, she can tell her folks "Frohe verspaetete Weihnachten". :)

It's always hardest to be away from home around the Holidays - even I miss Germany then sometimes, especially the Weihnachtsmarkt and the Gluehwein.

Hallo :)

(sigh) To make it fair for me this year we did agree that we would be spending christmas week with her family:rolleyes: and we would be celebrating New year's Eve with my folks in München, and :wall: bitte don't even ask me how much I paid for the flights because my back pocket hurts and I'm back to being poor again LOL so this is why I'm always working so I can afford this:wall: But seriously, i don't care how much money I have to spend or the 11 hr flight I'll have to bear, it's always worth to be back in my country and hug my family and celebrate with my friends:} And wow:worship: it would be amazing if she would get that motivated with the german language even if it's to say basic stuff as Merry Christmas and put some effort in blending in when we're there, instead of giving up:rolleyes: and saying german is too difficult and she's embarassed to speak it:mad: Well spanish is really hard for me too and at least I try and can understand it surprisingly well:evil: because I have interest in it... But yeah at least I'm excited I'll get to see my family again very soon:) but no I can't avoid the trip to my in-laws though I've tried to escape:D

And Socrates I had no idea you come from Deutschland too:) That's pretty cool to know!!!

well my old roommate found this stray kitten that we have taken in. luckily it is very friendly. gave it some flea baths, took it to the vet...still need to get something for its skin...has a slight infection. otherwise its a very not cute cat haha. might even say its ugly but i think its nice looking in its own way. :D heres a pic of this furball sitting on my leg. it could stand on my palm its so small. it has one black and white paw, one orange and white paw, and two solid white ones haha.

Your kitten looks like mine did! I bet it'll look good when it grows up. Here's my pretty tortie girl Poppy, about to dig her claws into my knee. She was a free kitten too. :)
