Found an absolutely huge fishing spider

I live in georgia and I found this enormous fishing spider. It was in the hollow of a tree. My friend spotted it and it went into the tree when I got close but I kept going back til I caught it. Just showing her off. Thats all

Nice find

I've caught 12 dark fishing spiders so far this summer .

Largest so far is a female with egg sac about 3 inches in legspan.


Here's couple of mine male pic 1 female pic 2 both are juveniles.

They can get even larger 5+ inches
