You gonna breed those? I'll be looking for a male for my female in another year or so. She's already at the 20" mark and she's been alive for only 9 months. Nice to see someone else with coastals.

My first snake was an eastern ribbon snake when I was 8. Now that has evolved into 3 corn snakes, 1 ball python, 1 kenyan sand boa, and 1 california king.

Garter snake. About 10 yrs old. Deal with my parents was that if he got out, that was the end of it. And as you could guess, he was out within a week. Found him a couple weeks later while I was cleaning out my aquarium. Climbed into one of the buckets of water that I was using.

Now this has been my past with snakes.

-Boring ball python, sold
-Sinaloan Milk, fav snake, recently passed away due to a heating pad accident
-high white 50/50 broken pattern cali king, my buddy
-cornsnake, crazy aggresive for some weird reason- sold
-adult male spotted python- one of the coolest snakes that Ive had, but looking to sell to fund a colubrid breeding project. PM if interested.

i almost had a corn snake as my first snake, a year ago. But my mom said no. Finally this June, i convinced her to let me get a ball python. Now I have a ball python, a corn, and a kingsnake. I'd like to get into breeding kingsnakes eventually, I totally fell in love with my girl, and really am fascinated by the species. I also want to get into some of the old world rat snakes, they are absolutely amazing.

What was your first snake ever?

My first snakes ever were WC Northern Copperheads (Agkistrodon contortrix mokasen) captured near a small waterfall about 500 yards from our home when I was a boy.
I kept them in the back of barn for a couple of months until my parents learned of their existance and made me release them.
I also got my first snake bite while releasing them.
