I did it. I bought my first pede today. The petstore owner said it was vietnam, and unfortunately that was all he knew. I figured it was probably S. Subspinipes and after looking at a pic alonso posted of his, I'm pretty sure that mine is. It ate a few crickets, and verociously I might add. I was amazed to see the power of the back legs when they pulled the pencil out of my hands that I used to prod the crix. Truly amazing animals!
