Finding a distinctive golden-brown tarantula in South Africa

In 2013 we discovered a distinctive golden-brown tarantula in South Africa. The spider closely resembles the other two golden-brown Augacephalus species, with further studies it seems that the species we found might just be a first sighting for Augacephalus ezendami in South Africa. Augacephalus ezendami has only been found so far in Mozambique, thus this is a significant discovery for the distribution of this species. Enjoy
