Is there any chance at a sac after they molt?

I've heard they usually dont but I dont know if there is still a chance at a sac just a low one or no possible way.

Yeah, they can lay a sac. but after they molt they loose the males sperm. that is lost with the molt. so it would basically be a dud sac.

bad luck for me then.

I was just about to move my male again and when I walked into my T room. The female he has been with the past week is munching on him and my other female he was with before molted.

That sucks. But alot of times, if a female is eating the male it means he did the deed.(this is not always the case, but i have read many account of females eating males and a few months later she laid a sac)

Good luck on your quest though.

They are P. regalis

Yea he has been between the two tanks for about a month usually a week or so in each was about to take him out and try feeding. As long as I have one female drop a sac ill be happy.

i would suggest breeding in supervision to save the male, no need for him to be munched in captivity.
