Feeding Non-Live Foods

That's adding a lot of extra steps. Just toss the frozen in and see what happens. If the spider refuses food that isn't twitching, live would be easier than standing there like a lemon twitching the food on tongs... but the point is that more spiders will scavenge than people assume.
I made the choice long ago that if I crush the head of a dubia and it isn't eaten by any of my T's I will freeze it for later and hope someone takes it at a later time.
Luckily I can always rely on my T. albo if no one else wants it.

I don't like wasting roaches as they're quite hard to get right now and I'm sure someone will eat a frozen one.
I guess I would try to make the insect appear alive by tong feeding - but again I could also just dump it in with my T. albo garbage disposal.

An article linked earlier in this thread mentioned tying a beef cube to a piece of string and dangling it... and I just can't help but laugh at how ridiculous that sounds lol.

I'll also add I feed some of my tarantulas prekilled food regularly. I just leave a prekilled item near the entrance of their burrow for them to find at night.
