Wait a God-darned second......... You mean to say that people don't feed their Ts this way? :troll:

I want some of whatever you took before replying to this thread, it's a B. hamorii ;)
Lol, I guess it is. From the picture, it just didn't look right to me. OP, Sorry for making you doubt the species, if it was sold to you as a B. hamorii it probably is a B. hamorii. I should just keep my dumb mouth shut. :p

Standard behavior for any T that is not hungry and perhaps going to molt. This is one of those questions that makes me write "do more research" ;)
Was more like being sure and double checking with expert people :D, I saw few thread of Tarantula sick or not in health so I was wondering if it could be a case..

And for the record, that worm in your GBB dish, its a superworm, not a mealworm.
Mhmm I don't know, I bought them as mealworm, they are growin.. some of them become beetle

Ultimately better to ask than not at all ;)

So guys... following my curiosity
I have this Brachypelma Hamorii female.. Is terrestrial... Just trying to understand if her behaviour is normal or if she is trying to tell me something like " I need to get out of here/Give me more top ventilation than side "... So of course I use this forum to ask for it... I'm new in the hobby and I love to get feedback from whoever has more experience than me...
Is that normal behaviour for her?
Found her before like that, Hanging on the lid with 1 of her leg sitting on the fake leaf.... IMG_20180307_235520.jpg

Yeah she is fat, I know. Worry about the fact she can hurt herself...

How long has she been in this enclosure? Climbing is normal during the first couple of weeks before they settle in.

Even after they settle in, they may occasionally climb. Constant climbing can be a sign that:
  • The substrate is too moist.
  • The substrate is uncomfortable for some other reason (too loose or jagged texture).
  • If she is always climbing in the same spot, that it's slightly warmer there.

If you're worried that she will fall and hurt herself, I would add more substrate.

I rehouse her in this enclosure almost month ago, she been all day just next to that plant, she normally stay on the top of the corkbar, in her hide or just on the " ground " is first time in a month that I found her in that climbin position

When she done I will probably tight more the substrate...

I don t think substrate is " wet " is quite dry... I use some filter option for the " climbin picture " to make the Ts showing better so it probably made the substrate " darker " or brighter
