I purchased feeder guppies for some small Oscars that we have..and well, I was wondering if anyone had used such a thing for feeding their Ts.particularily the slings...any downside to it? Health concerns? Do you think it would be safe to do?

I don't know from experience but I've read where people have used feeder goldfish. The warning that was posted was to beware of any chemicals that the fish may have been treated with to protect/treat them from/for diseases.

I don't think it would hurt them, but it would be messy.:p

If you could remove the spider to feed it, it should be ok.
I feed mine messy things that way. Just scoot them into a
small pet pal container and you can feed them whatever you want.:)
Maybe others will chime in with their thoughts.
Check with the pet shop and see if they treat the feeders
with anything.
