Lol I do like roseas behavior. Parahybana is just a bit more active for my liking.

Interesting. What do you like about the pumpkin patch? I think my girlfriend may get me one around Christmas time.

Temperament: i like my spideys sweet and tolerant. Im a female and that means I was born with an innate urge to touch cute things. Therefore, A. Avic wins this category.
Behavior: Gotta go with Rosies. They are by far the weirdest most mysterious...from rolling ping pong balls to sitting in one spot for a year and suddenly doing a handstand, wearing water dishes on their heads, being schizoid out of nowhere..yeah.
Coloration: The H. Mac. When they get really white. Gorgeous.
Overall appearance: Tossup...Im biased...I have an N. Coloratovillosus and I love her because shes super fluffy. But also anything theraphosa...because obviously, theyre flippin huge. :D

Cute thread, i like survey type things.

Temperament: My awesome P. irminia that's so calm - generally I'd say calmer T's (can be defensive, but I love those oddballs that fall out of their usual temperamental pattern!)
Behaviour: Euathlus sp. "red" (or "fire" or "flame" or whatnot..) - pop lid open, out comes the T! SO curious little buggers...
Coloration: P. irminia, E. pulcherrimaklaasi, O. diamantinensis, P. sazimai, H. sp. "blue", P. metallica, B. auratum, T. violaceus and P. subfusca would be my favs I guess
Overall appearance excluding color: Theraphosa spp. (because of their size) & dwarf species because of their size (like H. villosella, E. sp. "red" and so on...)

I like the super docile t's too. Then again I like super defensive ones. Both extremes.
Glad you like the thread, though I partially made it for selfish reasons to help me choose future t's.

What's not to love about Hapalopus sp. Colombia/large? Incredible, must have species. I've had my MF female for 2.5 yrs, raised from a 2i sling, and now have another 24x 2i from pairing her. They're gorgeous, and tons of fun to keep. Went off topic here, but had to just say how awesome this species is.

They're definitely beautiful! I was curious as to what stood out to him behavior-wise. Are they fairly "active"?

Temperament: OBT, I enjoy the excessively defensive tarantulas I get quite the chuckle when my buddies big girl comes running out, fangs out, front legs up, just at the sound of a voice! Got to respect her gusto to defend her home.
Behavior: I'm gonna go with my I. Mira, watching her constantly redecorate her home is adorable, and the way she eats is priceless.
Coloration: I'm definitely going to have to pick either M. Balfouri and P. Metallica, I love blue what can I say.
Overall appearance: I'm gonna have to say Golden Baboons, such neat patterns across the entire T.

Like Shell said, they are amazing. They are constantly webbing, rebuilding, remodeling. Very gorgeous looking, a little skittish, and fun to have. If you have ever owned H. incei, these are very much like them.
