That doesn't make any sense.
I actually get what he is saying, inshort as a fish matures its colors fade and they often take on a "dull" appearance. Also wear and tear as life takes its toll also becomes evident.

That's what has me doubting this is real, yet it still is all over yahoo news, nobody tried to debunk it yet.

I once caught an orange carp many years ago, it was about 15lbs. I have a pic of it somewhere but it was before digital, so I'll have to scan it.

If my fish is still alive, it is probably about that size now.

Photoshopped!

I have spent my life fishing with my family, weighing, gutting, slicing, and cooking, and i used to breed fish before i got married. I do alot of photoshopping my self (playing with color) this is photoshopped deff, thay could of done a MUCH better job on the left hand (his fingures look like Boudan instead of Digits) there is no shadow DIRECTLY bellow the fish like there would be if it where real, and Koi/Carp get darker mroe muddy in color (unless its got black in it) the older/bigger thay get, to blend in for more effective hunting. The only fish i know of thay stays reletivly bright that big is The Red Drum. AND last but not least thats more of a 50-60 lb fish, a 28lb cat fish is only 2 feet long TOTAL. so a 30 lb koi/carp would be about the same length because thay are a bit fatter.
