Exo-Terra tank size question

I have a 4"+ P. irminia, I would like to know if the 12x12x18 exo-terra tank is too large for it. The smaller size down is 12x12x12, but it seems rather short, I think I would prefer it to be taller. The spider will only get larger (not much tho), so I am thinking of the larger one. Thanks.
