i see, well thank you. i find the bulb rather useless for night viewing since it doesn't put off much light well i can't really say that since it makes my scorp fluoresce.
Hmm thats weird, it never makes my scorps flouresce, the exo terra nightglo bulb that is. And I agree that it doesn't really help us humans to see into the tank at night, but I am convinced that it helps the scorpions see at night greatly.

well i'm completely stumped, i guess i'll just continue to think it has harmful and only use it for spotting. thanks a lot for all your help :worship:

scorps rely very little on sight or light for that matter.

sensory hairs on pedipalps/all over their bodies provide the most sensory info.

they are, by nature, photophobic creatures.
