ok I just got this little guy today but I allready can tell thats its pure evil. its about a half inch and way way faster than my sub-adult H.maculata. the only question I have is... if I feed it around 5 or 6 crickets a week, how long should it take for it to get over an inch? I've heard that they grow fast. so if anyone has a molt log for this species or just some info please help me out here

The best way to make it grow fast is to raise the temps to the mid 80's and feed it well. How long it will take that I don't know for sure.

anouther thing I was looking at it about an hour ago, and it had a little drop of spit or venom or something hanging out of its mouth and ideas as to what that might have been

It is probably just venom. I'm sure after the long trip your Pterinochilus minus is a little stressed.

Sounds like the T is fine to me:)

I picked up 3 of these little guys. Mine are all about an inch.
Two of them have been put into new jars. The first one shot
out of its container when I was feeding it. I had to chase it
all over the table, that was fun! As soon as I caught it, it ate more.

Number 3 is still in it's vial. The way it eats and acts seems to be
different than the others. I think this one is going to be hard to
transfer to it's new jar. It tears it's food to pieces too:eek:
The others just eat normally....so I believe I have one DEMON
out of three, but I could be wrong:cool:

When I purchased them they each had 2 sheds in their vials.

They have not shed while in my care, so I can't help with any
data as of yet.
I plan on getting a warming setup for them, in hopes of
getting good results with growth, kind of an experiment.
If it works out I'll post what I find.=D
