Perhaps it is also due to the fact that it has been breeding successfully in Europe for many decades. I don't want to defend us Europeans, but that is a very premature statement!
And the prices are not stupidly cheap, yours are stupidly expensive!

Interesting but not surprising in the least unfortunately.
Europeans have a LONG history of smuggling wildlife. Lizards, frogs, spiders, birds, it doesn't matter.
I wonder if Xenthesis sp. Megasetae is amongst the species being smuggled?
Are you suggesting you’d like one? I only ask because a substantial portion of your collection is comprised of species that were smuggled from the wild. I can only imagine what your dart frog collection looks like.
