As you say they are painfully difficult to find, I've found details of them on Bugz, and Martin Goss, but they don't seem to have been in stock for a while...

I sent TSS an email asking them if they'd ever be able to stock it, from what I hear they're pretty reputable, so I will keep my fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll just keep emailing places asking them if they might be able to order them in or if they know any breeders I can buy directly from.

As I say, I've not had a pet tarantula before, and based on my research, and what people say, they are number 1 on my list for a first T, they look gorgeous!
So true I've only heard good things about them only except they might be fasting for a while in the winter, but all in all cute little buddy, it's a must-have for me, I've ordered from TSS twice and it's great experience

Saw ur another thread seeking Sp red said that u're in Scotland, I've been last week and heard Serpentus Exotics have got a wide selection of tarantulas, I personally haven't been because of time but they have FB page worth checking out?

The last time I saw them for sale was a few weeks ago from Portsmouth Tarantulas (another member on here purchased both), I got mine from So Many Legs back in July, they pop up for sale every now and again but sell very quickly.

There's a breeder in Germany who currently has a (or maybe more) female(s) (body length ~ 2,5-3,5 cm) and slings (2nd FH). The female goes for 50€ and the slings for 7€ each. I don't know if he'd ship to the UK, but he's a very reputable breeder and well known for raising and selling Euathlus sp. red or Homoeomma sp. fire (that's what they're called hereabouts ;)).

Not sure, if it's appropiate to post his name here, but you could have a look at the german "craigslist" (so to speak) and you'll find him: http://brachypelma-smithi.de/vogelspinnen-kleinanzeigen.html :)

Hi Adam,
I’m on the look out for both! As soon as I track them down, they will go on my website. There were none at the last spider show I went to.
Best regards,
Virginia"

Kudos to her for such a fast response though, was expecting to wait a few days haha.

Since i don't live in the UK i can't provide any important information, i'll just simply add the following statement:

If you find one, you have found a treasure, no collection is even close to complete without one.
Well i must be the richest man alive ( or at least in my own little world) as i have an adult female E sp red and an adult female Grammostola pulchra

I wanted to buy a Chilobrachys sp vietnam blue from spidersworld.eu but I was suprised when I saw that shipping was only $6.00 and the Chilobrachys was only $11.00. Shouldn't it be expensive to ship something from Europe to US?
