Man, it really seems like my luck has not been with me lately involving mistakes and misfortunes with T's.

Anyway, my stoutleg(E. pachypus) after constructing what appeared to be a nice burrow took advantage of an ajar lid and escaped. I was lax in thinking now it was settled in it wouldn't want to wander. Any ideas as to where it would go? With other previous escapees(albo and vagans) I turned to house upside down looking for them only to find them later in the most random spot(up a wall, or in the middle of the room).

I would rather not have this T make some cozy home in my couch or something.

Also, could I take this as a sign she isn't happy with the setup?

yea its so annoying that you spend time sometimes hours making a nice enclosure with all the right humidity temps etc and they still want to run away lol  its nothing to do with your setup its its natural response to go exploring and for a walkabout. when i first got my sling it escaped and we spend fifteen mins trying o find it and then found it later that day under a puzzle box.... you start from your enclosure and methodicly search everything around it moving further away ensuring you look in every dark spot, every nook and cranny, under everything etc make sure you look on the back of cupboards, my friend lost his t and looked under everything on top of everything inside everything etc, then i came over and found it in five mins sitting on the back of a set of draws in the dark spot between the wall and it. good luck hunting anyway

All you can do is work out from the perimeter of where it escaped. If you let a spider out an watch it, it will sometimes stop at the first obstacle in front of it and sit, sometimes it will just go onto the next one. You can get lucky and see it traveling between stops. Look where a vertical surface meets a horizontal one. This creates a nook that they tend to like to sit.

Nah...I'm sure she's inside somewhere.

I had a curly missing for more than a month which was recovered when it climbed a wall. I like to capture this one so I don't need to explain to any guests that a baboon spider is running loose in the house!

ouch!

I can just imagin it getting in your bed! That is my worst fear, my girlfriend wakes up, or worst yet we where in bed but not sleeping and.....oooh whatha?!?!?
I would not stop lookin till you find it. You arent nearly woried enough, either that or you are single or will be soon.
The only girls I know that would not run out of your house after they delivered you a savage beating after bieng crawled upon or worst yet bitten are on this forum and even some of them would not appriciate that shit. Especially if it bit'em.
Baboons have a nasty bite too, I say find it and be more responsible next time. Or just get used to dating Ms, Michigan and Rosie palmer the rest of your life after word get around you got bugs that "bite" running free in your house.:wall:
Find it, find it soon and find it fast.
I would say good luck but obviously you dont have much of that going for ya right now, I could pray for you but Im agnostic so I gues you are just screwed.
