These are such beautiful Ts... I can't wait until they are more widely available...

I've read reports about breeding Sickius longibulbi that sound pretty intense... is the breeding for these similar, since they both lack spermatheca?

Also... and this may be a dumb question... but how do you sex these, if they don't have spermatheca?

huh... ok... I think I need to review my tarantula anatomy... I always thought that the pocket with the 2 prongs that you looked for to determine if a spider is female was the spermatheca... is the flap the uterus externus, and the prongs are the spermatheca (obviously in other spiders).

I've read about this species molting after breeding, and still producing a fertile sac... so obviously sperm is not stored in the uterus externus... it connects to some anatomy that isn't shed?

Man im feeling left out like i did b4 i got my p matallica, i want some e oliviceas of my own, their the first on my list when i resume my collecting in a month or 2, ill be scouting.

Amazing colors on your specimen Chris, what size is it? cant wait for mine to put on some color, quickly becoming a new favourite species in my collection :cool:
