I was just wondering what kind of enclosure types everyone uses.

Utilitarian - Plastic shoebox style enclosures, tupperware containers, etc.
Showcase - Decorated and fancy, in an aquarium, exo-terra, Tarantula Cages enclosure, handmade using acrylic or glass or what not
Both - pretty self explanatory

Feel free to post a picture of your general enclosure shelf/shelves.

So I voted utilitarian. We live with my mom so all our guys have to be in our room, which means there's not much room to really have 76 decked out tanks.

Here's a picture: (ignore the aquarium, that has a snake in it)

I use "pimped-out' setups with live plants, moss, a place to burrow, ect.

I have a showcase cage from Tarantulacages for my adult G. rosea. The rest of my Ts are slings and I have them on utilitarian enclosures.
I will probably get them nicer homes when they grow a bit more :D

Utilitarian - the big females are gonna get nice display cages, but everyone else is in simple setups. It's just too difficult to keep 40+ T's in decked out enclosures. Especially if they're just gonna grow out of them or be traded or pimped out in the future.

Showcase Vivariums

Even though my hobby is confined to my 10 x 10 bedroom, I have 8 or 9 vivariums going on a 36" x 14" x 54" black wire rack (aka: a Baker's Rack, or Designer wire Shelving).

The vivariums are your basic RobC-style setups. I am still in the middle of a major rehousing project, and plan on putting in some live plants(Golden Pothos, Camille, Fittonia "Juanita", Croton "Bush on Fire", Red Begonia, Purple Waffle, and Tropical Fern Assortment), and other decorations after all the main enclosures are done.

10-gallon Avic avic enclosure (had to transfer her despite the viv being not quite completed)

I keep my slings and small juvies in utilitarian setups, though.

like some of the others on here said...the worthy females will get displays tanks, and others will get Kk or rubber maid tubs...

Tilly is in a ten gallon tank. She has a hide and water dish and I have about 8 inches of substrate in there. Simple and I guess considered utalitarian.

Complete showcase to help educate people about them & their specialized care. They can see each & everyone of my Ts or scorps by lifting up a piece of paper on the outside of the enclosure by the hide. Most of mine are out most of the time anyways. Kim

Am I the only one drooling? LOL!

If michaels count as utilitarian, then yes I am.
