The one thing I personally feel is important in a container to the point of being a deal breaker, is transparency. I like having more than one entryway, but I'll "suffer" one of those beautiful acrylic numbers because the view inside is pristine. I find even the slight opacity of deli cups & certain other food containers cumbersome, if I'm trying to see if there's a well camouflaged food item playing possum, but especially to fully enjoy the beauty of the specimen. That's just me, though.

I also don’t enjoy the opaque container look much at all! I will go through the effort to find clear delicups, and modify clear containers so I can have an unobstructed view of my pride, joys, and projects!

I have some biodude substrate in the bottom because I wanted to try it out. I'm not using a bioactive enclosure, but I heard this substrate absorbs water well. Never again though because it's so expensive.

I planned on putting a small water dish in the bottom and another small one glued to the bark or side of the enclosure.

I'm not sure if its necessary if I put another hide or anchor point because I imagine the cork tunnel being used quite a bit. I also want prey to be more accessible for the T.

Let me know what you guys think or if you would add anything. Thanks :)

That will work, but some plants will allow it to feel covered when not behind cork

….and it’s nothing you can’t make yourself for 1/50th of the cost!!

I agree fully with the above! Id place the plants from more the low-mid region around the cork bark, compared to where I’d place Aviculariinae cover around upper mid-high. OP, I have found how cover is placed for different genera to make a noticeable difference in all around behavior.

This is very helpful, thanks!

Amac boxes are better and more inexpensive, I went straight to cutting glass for my breeders, acrylic enclousers are to much and they warp over time and heat and get to scuffed up.

Yuuup a nice clean view doesn’t bug the heck out of me. There are ways to do it on the cheaper end even if you have a larger amount

Heres what i am using for my spiderlings. these are pretty cheap, square and very clear.

Only thing i dislike with acrylic is how easily scratched it gets. Adult permanent enclosures i prefer glass.
