Nah, just keep using scientific names. The only people who use common names are those that haven't learned the scientific names yet (and you'll be helping them) or those that are too stubborn. There are some common names for very old time species (B. smithi = redknee for example) that get used a lot, but for the most part scientific names get used almost exclusively amongst hobbyists over here as well.

We tend to use GBB (Greenbottle Blue) here in the forum because no one wants to write out C cyaneopubescens all the time.

Man Caligula, another great pic!!!!!LOL!!!!!! I think the amount of press it has received is the main reason for the smithi's popularity, my emelia has an extensive burrow constructed and does indeed hide in the burrows most of the time.
