A couple of negative Nancy's here but as said hydration and wax worms. Hope your poor baby does better. I know that feeling. A mother robin abandoned her best which was on the side of my house. The babies ended up falling out and dieing on the rocks below. Wish I would have helped;(

It's just common knowledge that most pet stores are crap. Yours might be willing to care for their stock better, but the overwhelming majority really dont care and are businessmen first and foremost.
No. My pet store isnt any better. Animals are viewed as products that need to be turned over quickly for maximum profits. Proper care equates to lost profits in man hours.
