im trying to make small plexiglass or acrilyic arboeal terreria for my slings but i can figure out a good way to make a secure lid

anyone have any ideas

I have had good results with the small size "beanie baby" type plastic enclosures available at many craft shops. a lot easier than trying to make your own.

Bob,
Pet shops sell a product called "Lock Strip" or something like that. I just bought some the other day, its sold by the foot.
* See pictures* I used Velcro to keep the lid closed..

No, I wish I could bend plexiglass like that. That is a container from a store that sold candy. A local guy bought a bunch of them, and he sells them to me for $15.00. Not bad.

I hear ya, I want to start making my own too. That way they will all look the same. . I thought the lock strip is a good way of attaching the lids.IMO

Ed,
That is correct. It might be called something else, but thats what its for. It makes a good hinge.
I use it on my scorpion cage as well.
