Effects of smoke on tarantulas

Considering the fact that tarantulas breathe as slow as they do, the odds of them breathing in any smoke is unlikely. The only thing I'd be worried about is the THC in the marijuana, which is a natural pesticide I believe. That being said I keep my T's in my living room and I've smoked both cigarettes and marijuana(I don't smoke anymore) in my living room while my T's were in there. Their enclosures were only a few feet away from me and I never had any problems.
I think we also forget that T's replace their lung lining with every molt. They'll be exposed to so many fewer toxins in captivitiy than they probably are in the wild. Don't over think it. I'm sure they will be fine.

Maybe they will be fine, maybe they won't. I'd move them though if it were me. No, actually I would move if it were me, but that's just me :)

My Reptile/T room doubles as my smoking room. I've been smoking this room out daily for years and have had no issues. Actually, my animals are my preferred entertainment when partaking in the sacred herb.

Hey make sure you tell your roomate happy 4/20 when you see him today.
