Fascinating stuff here guys. Would love to see some photos of immature and adult males too for comparison. Like I said, mine is about 2-3" and is displaying mature female traits. The "male" I saw at the show had slight tiger like striping on abdomen. Anyone seen this before on this species? My girl doesn't have any abdominal marking...

I found a YouTube video of E. constrictus mating in which you can clearly see the patella and tibia are incrassate in the female, but not so much as in E. pachypus, and the metatarsus and tarsus are not.

Unfortunately, I haven't come across any pictures of an immature male E. pachypus to know for sure if they develop they large leg 4. This has began to interest me a great deal and I might have to procure several spiderlings of both species and hope to get both genders to see how they develop. I'm also curious to know if it is common for spiders sold as E. constrictus to actually be E. pachypus.
