You know, they have a bunch of tarantulas for sale and almost 300 positive reviews except for one negative review. I don't know. They also have a lot of information on there too.

I actually sell live coral on ebay. They are considered animals.
That's a gray area haha. Maybe spiders are okay but they mean cute fuzzy little animals. No sales of gerbils or hamsters or puppies.

That's cool though, live coral.

What about live babies? Because, I stumbled across just that the other day...
:o_O:
I remember that jerk that tried to sell a russian nuclear sub over here for 120.000.000 EUR or so...was worth a laugh...stupidity is sometimes just getting ahead of people...:D:D:D:D

Aren't corals under nature preservation rules? At least over here, I'm pretty sure trade with them is prohibited...correct me if I am wrong!

I have seen feeder roaches for sale on ebay. They were overpriced though.
Feeder roaches, crickets, etc. are "restricted" items, but allowed under ebay's TOS if you follow their selling guidelines.

From ebay's TOS...these are the live animals allowed for sale as long as you have the proper federal/state permits and ship overnight:

Ebay Terms of Service said:
Restricted

- Crickets, worms, or other herbivorous insects as long as they're intended to be used for bait or food for pets

- Hatching eggs from some animals—for example, chicken eggs—as long as they're shipped only within the US. However, hatching eggs from endangered species, migratory birds, snakes, or turtles aren't allowed.

- Shellfish, such as crabs and lobsters, to be used as food

- Snails or slugs, but only those that are known as domestic aquatic snails and the following 5 types that you can eat (usually called escargot):

Helix aperta or Cantareus apertus (usually called burrowing snails)

Helix aspersa or Cryptomphalus aspersus (usually called small grey snails)

Helix pomatia (usually called apple snails, Burgundy snails, lunar snails, or Roman snails)

Otala lactea or Helix lactea (usually called milk snails, Spanish snails, or vineyard snails)

Otala vermiculata or Eobania vermiculata (usually called vinyala, mongeta, or xona)

Before listing escargot, be sure to get the proper permits for selling and shipping snails. If you're importing food products into the U.S., they have to go through inspection at JFK airport in New York.

- Tropical fish. Be sure to check if permits are required.
Not allowed at all are the following:

Ebay Terms of Service said:
Not Allowed

- Animals that aren't listed above, such as:

Endangered species

Migratory birds, including cranes, ducks, eagles, geese, hawks, hummingbirds, owls, shorebirds, seabirds, songbirds, and wading birds.
See the Migratory Bird Treaty Act for a complete list of protected birds.

Noxious insects

Pets

Sharks, including small aquarium sharks
I believe since tarantulas aren't listed in the "restricted" list with the feeders and tropical fish, they would fall into the "not allowed" category. And while I disagree with the term, they're probably considered a "noxious insect" where ebay is concerned, as well as a pet.

Anyone else notice that the one seller on there with Ts is using other folks' photos? His pair of Avic avics is being sold with a photo from Jamie's website. :o_O:
