what do they taste like? im an avid "eater of weird things"... i enjoy trying new things... over christmas break i had raw Quail eggs out west
They taste kind of like pork rhinds.

That's funny... I never had alligator, ostrich, snails, raw quail egg, bear, some green leaf bug but I eat pork rinds all the time. lots protein in those!
They DO farm them and also catch them in pitfall traps. There is a thread that cleared that up a long time ago with pics of the pede farm ...pedejerkywe have pede farm in China :}

Do you happen to know what for? I watched a show about a guy here in America who was Paralyzed in a bad car accident. He was bitten by a scolopendra in his wheel chair and all of a sudden could walk again. If they hadn't had video, I wouldn't have believed it. Oh, and yeah, if you are farming them for food and medicine, they are probably huge numbers huh? Millions and Millions of Centipedes. I mean, you have a billion people right? That's a lot of pedes. I want to see that someday....

It's fascinating. If I come to china, will you help me find a centipede farm to go visit? I am going to travel outside the U.S. to take pictures of scorpions and meet new people hopefully in the next year or two. China has scorpions too, but I would almost go just to see a Centipede farm.
