Drilling ventilation holes

I also need a new tool to use for making holes (other than a hot nail). If I got a soldering iron, would I also need these accessories?:

i have never drilled plastic , however i DO have plenty of remodel experience and drilling holes is drilling holes. i agree with mcluskyisms (SP?) 100%.. i imagine its same as drilling into tile or any finished surface you want protected. blue masking tape , mark holes you want drilled , drill, and remove tape,,,, you can even start a pilot hole with somethin pointy if you dont have tape. that way the bit wont skid around the exposed surface causing scratches.
