I believe it is one recessive gene. These two are about as different as "witches potion" get.Hmmmm interesting, how stable are they and what’s the variation in colors across them?
For just me the regular Porcellio expansus are more attractive!

Do you know if it’s possible to get hold of some ???These are honestly one of the more stunning isopods available. But not many have been released since discovered almost a couple years ago. They are recessive. And the hets often do look nicer than the normals. Babies start out white and color up as they age. And the patterns and range of color defs varies between individuals. These pics show a juveniles just starting to color up.
