Thats totally not the case, especially you Germans, in both of my main hobbies reefkeeping and inverts+arachnids its pretty much common knowledge that when it cones to methodology and hobby advancement you Germans are many many years ahead of us in the USA.
In reefkeeping especially, all of the most cutting edge methods and products come from Germany.

Its not just hobby related either, the overall efficiency of how your country is ran, again, many years ahead of the US.
Not trying to be a kiss butt, its just fact!
