Does anyone have any interesting tarantula bite stories?

I am wondering if anyone has a interesting story about a time when they got bitten by a tarantula. I have been pretty lucky so far and have not received a bite from any of my tarantulas and I hope to keep it that way.
if you have been bitten by one of your tarantulas I would love to hear your story, what did the bite do to you? and did the bite change how you handle certain situations?

I was a scrawny nerd who couldn't catch a break until, one day, i was bit by a T that escaped from a research facility studying genetically modified Theraphosidae. At first, the pain was limited to the bite area but soon spread up my arm and around my back till it was all consuming. I barely made it home and when i crashed through the door i fell unconscious. I don't know how long i was out but when i awoke, my ass was covered in urticating hair. I now use this power to punish ne'er-do-wells and avenge my uncle. I mean... He's fine but he has some beef with the post office or something. I don't know. I never really asked. He gets weird and drinks a lot.

It's not the life i would have chosen but with substantial capabilities comes considerable duty.
One time i had to face off with the Brown Blumpking, Defecto and Physician's Assistant Cuttlefish.
But that's a tale for another day.
