Do you think T's get bored?

So today is feeding day, I go to my lasiodora parahybana enclosure and she's blocked her entrance off with substrate. So initially I thought oh maybe pre moult that's good then at the left hand side I see some legs poking out like what she's normally like at the entrance waiting for food. So I thought oh well let's see and threw in a large cricket and BAM she took it like a champ. So do you think T's get bored? If so any story's on why you think so?

Tarantula, as well as most/if not all Arthropoda, brains aren’t complex enough to feel ‘boredom’.

No. They don't work, pay taxes, they aren't called to deal with responsibility etc all they do is eat and being lazy all the day. While I do think they're capable of feeling things such as fear, I seriously doubt they have the capacity to feel boredom.

No, I don't think they are able to get bored. They are built to do almost nothing. Being able to get bored would be a huge disadvantage for them.

I really can't see than ever feeling boredom. They're not very complex animals. If they could get bored, I don't think they'd be nearly so successful in the wild as alot of them would be eaten finding new things to hide in.

Jumpers are clever little buggers. I 100% believe they get something out of being allowed to come out of their enclosures. They'll look around to see what's around them.

Portia jumpers will solve the problem of getting a spider off it's web. They're the Einsteins of the spider world.

Okay, but consider this: some Ts might have higher drives to explore their surroundings than others of the same species or even of the same egg sac. These Ts are the ones that get eaten in the wild probably because they don't have the instinct to hide as much as their burrow loving brethren. So some tarantulas might have more energy/drive/need to move and we as keepers get to see those types of spiders live into adulthood because nothing is preying on them in our living rooms.
