Do scorpions climb glass

I was wondering if scorpions climb glass to see if I would need a lid or not

short answer: while scorpions can not adhere to glass like a tarantula can it is still a good idea to have a lid on their cage.

Some younger instars may be able to climb the silicone though. A lid is always a good idea.

no they cant climb glass, yes you still need a lid.

A lid is definately needed. It keeps the scorp in and everything and everyone else like pets and kids out. Also, be aware that some scorps have the ability to jump even though it is rare!
