Diffs between N.Chromatus & A.Genic?

I think that what he means is that Genics are pretty easy to deal with once they are out of their cage. They have really strong feeding responses, but aren't really inclined to bite outside of the cage.

They're both about as docile as it gets. I have both (mistake, should have gone old world and nasty). We're talking new world species, folks.
Sorry to hijack, but my most defensive T is a NW species. Back on topic now, outside of the visual differences the N. chromatus have the worst hairs that I have experienced.

For me, the worst hairs are, by far, T blondi. My chromatus generally don't flick any so they don't bother me.

Thumper, once you get a little more used to physical characteristics of this T or that, you'll learn what to look for. I've had both an A. genic and a few N. chromatus and I remember being unable to tell them apart "way back when" (2-3 years ago). Now they don't look a thing alike to me. In fact, there are other species that look much more similar than these two. Try telling 2 diferent Acanthroscurria's apart or two Lasidora's. That's a good bit more difficult.
