I really don't know much as far as their differences anatomically, however here's the Genus Ornithoctonus picture thread. There are some good pictures of both the O. aureotibialis and the O. sp. Koh Samui so you might be able to get a good idea by looking at those.Ok, I have a O. Aureobitalis, and have ordered a Ornithoctonus Sp. "Koh Samui" can any one tell me the difference in the two other than geographical, and size? Because I am having a little bit of trouble.
Thanks I appreciate it.I really don't know much as far as their differences anatomically, however here's the Genus Ornithoctonus picture thread. There are some good pictures of both the O. aureotibialis and the O. sp. Koh Samui so you might be able to get a good idea by looking at those.

Thanks very much appreciated. There is a thread from a while back titled "Ornithoctonus sp. Koh Samui questions" in which syndicate offers some info and provides links to other info. Sorry I can't link it from my phone (if I can I don't know how) but if you run a search for "Koh Samui" you'll find it.
I don't know if there are any morphological differences between the two other than size. Haven't looked into it myself. The description paper for O. aureotibialis should be around somewhere online. It's in German but has plenty of excellent photos of the morphology of the species. If you have a decent grasp of the anatomical terminology for tarantulas you should also be able to translate the most pertinent passages. If you can't find it, PM me and I'll try to e-mail a copy to you.
