Did you know, that I can't possibly understand how such a pointless topic has received three pages of replies?

Did you know, that I can't even begin to understand why anyone would want to experiment or have interest in introducing a creature to a substance or situation that would induce death?

EVEN if fire or alcohol caused a scorpion to kill itself, WHO CARES? This is suppose to be a point of communication for people with an interest in scorpions, not kids who want to pull the legs of ants.

Dude, not to sound abrasive or cheeky, but that's starting to slide to the anal retentive side of acedemics. I understand that it may well lead to scientific results, but for end? So if a scorpion's core temperature reaches an certain height, neurons short, and it kills itself? That kind of behaviour is pretty evident in any living animal, detremental events in internal systems result with failure, I really don't see the beneficial results of this at all. *edit ESPECIALLY in a hobbiyist forum.

Actually CTM's, critical thermal maxima's are of great importance in understanding the physiological basis of environmental adaptation......:?

What a stupid thread.
Uhm, then why are you posting stuff nobody cares about in it? Or you really think that a thread that's stupid to everybody (this one clearly is not) needs a post stating so? Like we can't figure it out by our selves?
