Sounds like a happy specimen to me then. Thanks for the info. Tried the uv torch at night down the burrow and nothing! But it turns about 5 inches in, so think he's gone right under as my substrate is pretty firm and holds shape well. Tiny water dish is usually down, just took it out while I took the picture to wash it
I don't know yet. I checked him first thing this morning and he wasn't molting. Checked him just over an hour ago and seemed to be mid molt. Out at the minute, so will check when I get in. How long (average) does it usually take?Did it survive the molt? Yup after a fresh molt they dont glow under blacklight lol weird
I'm just gonna leave him be. Nothing I can do that I haven't already anyway. Lighting misting around the entrance to the burrow and that's about it. 88 degrees hot end with a gradient down to 77. In timer during the night so the heat goes off during the night to room temp which sits generally around 73-74 ish. Humidity usually sits around 31-33 and that's with a tiny water bowl at the cooler endOh it can range, quiet a bit. My p trans took HOURS so give it some time
If it was molting. It should be done by nowStill waiting and hoping he hasn't died. Isn't moving
So I blew on him and he's still alive. Don't know for how long though as his foot seems to be stuck to the exoskeleton.... Not much I can do other than wait, but I think he's just going to end up passingIf it was molting. It should be done by now
