I recently received a colony of B. craniifer. I can’t get over the perfect little Jack-o-Latern look their pronotum.

Wait until they get full color in 2 days, the imitation's of them have the face, until they get full color and only are left with eyes or mouth. Thats what happened with mine, looked idential to your after molt, 2 days later only had the eyes, the rest of the face had turned black.

All mine have the full face regardless of when they molted. My craniifer discoid hybrids didn't keep the color, but these guys do.
