Death curl, clumsy and twitching movements after molting of my T. What can I do?

Tarantulas can move strangely after a molt. It can take days and weeks before they get to moving “normaly”.

for the record: they can also display this behavior before a molt.

if it had an illness, nothing you could have done would have stopped it.

after a molt, if spider was already dehydrated, sure you can try giving water, but the damage would already be done.

best action is to be patient and have faith in the process.

its okay to make sure there is water, and a bit of water near tarantula wont hurt.

but resist any more tampering to avoid prolonging the entire transition. Thats when spiders can get startled and hurt themselves.

I've had already like 15 tarantulas I know it's not much but, it's the first time I meet this behavior - that's why I got so scared.
If she will recover from this I swear I'll give her a mealworm with whipped cream on the top :rofl:

As of today I can rather say that everything is fine! Just about 4-5 days ago I could see funky movements fading away...
And she is eating right now guys! What a happy ending :D

Thanks for letting us know. I always love to get feedback, especialy when its good and tarantula is doing well and healthy.
