death after maturing

hi just wondering, after males tarantulas mature they die, is this true with all types of spider such as true spiders and whip scorpions etc ???

I'm sure there are exceptions somewhere, but generally speaking, yes.

I'm not very familiar with whipscorpions though, so hopefully someone else can elaborate regarding them.
