Daring Jumping Spider

My neighbor caught a 1/2" P. audax in his house and gave it to me, since I keep tarantulas. Well, I decided that I want to keep this beautiful spider. Now I do have a few questions though.

1 How do I set up an enclosure properly?

2 How long should I expect it to live?

3 How often should I feed it?

4 How do I sex it?

Right now I have it in a 4" deli with about a 1/2" of substrate. I know with my Ts at that size I would use a vial, but the jumper seems a lot more active than a T.

Thanks,

I did use the search function and I was able to answer 1 and 3, but I still need help with 2 and 4. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you should be able to tell at 1/2" if it's male or female. male's should have enlarged palps by then.

Since, the palps aren't enlarged I am going to assume it is female. The only info I need now is, how long do they live?

Thanks,

I found one not too long ago and posted about it here.

The enclosure pictured farther down has worked fine for a while now. I just removed the substrate because roaches were burrowing in it and escaping the jumper. He's fine without it. I'm feeding it 2-3 B lateralis nymphs a week. It's a mature male though so my conscience is getting to me and i may set him free pretty soon.
