im not sure what type of vietnam (s.subspinipes) it is and where it come from i have no idea as i got it from a mate of mine i know this species is regularly imported into the uk but where they end up i dont know but i have seen them for sale at shows but then there are only 2 or 3 people that have them for sale i know of a couple of shops that have them but they are expensive because i get most of mine of a mate but im not sure where he gets them from i have brought some of from shows in the past and they where from about 6 quid each but this guy is some where up north but i know there arent many supplirs down here in the south

I'll check out those links. I guess the best thing to do is keep on looking until something turns up. I reckon i might get a couple of new pedes from bugsdirectuk.com, there's enough of a selection to keep me going untill i find a big subspinipes!

the only thing i dont like about bugsdirect is the price as some of them look like what i have got sat here but i only paid a fraction of the price looking through a site tonight not sure how long it has been up for but they have some s.subspinipes 7"+ for only 20quid might be worth a look

I've been trying to get hold of steve dye at bugsnstuf for a while, but he doesn't seem to be answering his e-mails. £20 for a 7" subspinipes seems like a good deal to me too. I see that you've got a few pedes yourself. Did you manage to breed the alipes? I would be very interested to know how you did it. There seems to be little or no information on the net about breeding centipedes.

unfortantly i didnt breed the pedes myself she was w/c and she laid the eggs about 3 months after getting her like you say theres not much info on breeding pedes out there but there is a bit on this forum
