Kind and collected...:playful: Ha hahahahha, you make me laugh. I see the deranged and twisted though lol.
And gentle. Always, lol. I have an upper class education. You know, just few hours ago, in my sweet Lombardy, i scared a market saleswoman here where i live... but that wasn't my fault, my man :)

Oh, Lombardy my dear sweet homeland, Lombardy. And Lombardy rice. Today is Sunday. And yesterday was Saturday, and a "home alone" man of Lombardy needs rice for Sunday dinner, no?

So i went, late afternoon (night, would say someone) to "Gulliver" market. But it's cold, now. Snow time here :)
So i jumped out with my Winter time dress (meaning, black "Father Gascoigne" hand made Italian hat and Italian wool/cashmere black "Tabarro") for buying rice :)

Then she went into "scared" mode only because i was too fast (my hand "appeared" all of a sudden from the cloak... but i was wearing a Tabarro, lol, so it's normal) showing her my "item"... 1KG rice, not a gun.
She start to talking about Italian "Bandito/s" and crap. She was scared. "Oh, you are so fast! I taught about a gun & robbery" lol

Well, since we are living in a politically correct world, now that's discrimination :-(

You sure you weren't trying to commit an armed robbery? 1KG of rice is a deadly and potential weapon, not to be taken lightly. Not sure what time it is over there in Lombardy, but here, it's time to sleep. Good night!

I remember Martin Huber pointing out if Hap changes to Cyrio
then H. lividum would be
Cyriopagopus lividus

why would it change like that?

just curious how the language works

K thanks for the clarification! Is there any physical way to distinguish lividum from Singapore? Or physically are they identical?
Aside from sharing colors, they are really nothing alike. The Singapore blue is much leggier, and grows to a much larger size....although its technically arboreal, they construct web tubes at ground level very often and even burrow...not like a H. lividium (yeah, im using the old name), but they still burrow. Singapore is also a more skittish t, and even more reclusive....I rarely see mine out and its only very late at night, despite keeping my t room perpetually dark.

@ HadesZ, I'm very happy to see another Wisconsonite on the boards!!

Cobalt Blues and Singapore Blues don't look anything alike to me. I think the OP needs to look at some pictures on the forum. Female SBlues are gorgeous! I'd get an SBlue over a Cobalt Blue any day.

I've owned SBlues and I can verify what Cold Blood said about their intricate burrows. They form the most unique burrows I've seen from a T.

They are large Ts, they start off large as slings, and just keep growing fast as well, with large size gains between the molts, esp the males when they mature.

If you start one off as a sling in a smallish container, you'll be doing frequent rehousing. They are excellent eaters.

20190117_121051.jpg I bought this as a Haplopelma Lividum. I that what you guys think it is? If not I definitely need to change it's setup. I've had it for 3 days and it hasn't started to burrow. I know it can take alot longer but you guys conversation has me wondering . Would Haplopelma Lividum be able to climb the glass?

Yes they can still climb glass just not as well. if it is H Lividum setup should be terrestrial and deep enough to burrow in you should upload pics of full enclosures when asking this stuff that way everyone can chip into say what's correct and what not to do. also there is a separate place for species identification on here

That's a Cyriopagopus lividus (new name)/ Haplopelma lividum (old name), and it's looking pretty rough. It needs deep, moist substrate to burrow (preferably without any sharp edged wood sticks). Burrowers often get very stressed out by a rehouse and may need weeks to months to settle in. And yes, they can climb glass.

It's definitely not Lampropelma violaceopes.
