So I've had this Chinese hourglass spider for over a year I would think, I rehomed it today in a much bigger enclosure that's actually just a vase, i have no idea what sex it is and realised I have no idea how to do it, unfortunately if it has shed when I've had her I've never found one so I can't do it this way, I was wondering if anyone could help and if this photo would be at all useful.

If it's an adult it's female. Not sure how big that species gets though.

Thanks for the reply, I'm fairly sure it' an adult, I'm used to tarantulas, how can you tell may I ask?

if its like most other true spiders thin palps are female boxing glove palps are male

The pedipalps will surely indicate a mature male, as the emboli should be visible. But Cyclocosmia are not true spiders, they still fall under Mygalomorphae. The males for this genus look quite a bit more "leggy" than females do when they mature.

Not the same species, but it gives you an idea of how leggy males will get and you just barely make out the emboli on the end of the pedipalps.
