This little beastie and a few of his friends have been hanging out in my kitchen window for the last few weeks. I decided that catching it wouldn't make me feel too guilty considering that these guys are an invasive species. SOOO, meet my new friend the fiesty Cuban Tree Frog. :)

lol if this little monster ends up being too loud and obnoxious, I'll just put it back outside.

Seriously, though, I need him to help keep my Dubia population in check! lol I just fed him 5...

The head is about an inch wide, the body is about 3" or so.

yeah Id say female, they do great in captivity you dont need to have it that wet I would mist it twice a week, as long as the bowl is in there. They are almost indestructible thats why they have taken over our houses.

It's just wet because it was SOOO DRY lol...that was a T cage. I put in some loose coco fiber and soaked it cause I didn't want the dusty stuff all over my cute little frog. lol But yeah, didn't really know how moist it SHOULD be.

I will let it dry out some...thanks for the advice.

I've never had a frog before, but according to you AND the other sources I've been researching, these guys ARE pretty unkillable and make neat pets. :)

I'll give her a girl name. heh

I wish we had cool schtuff like that just walkin around here in MI. I'll trade you a fox squirrel, raccoon, porcupine, or some other lil fuzzie of your choice for an amphibian friend.

EDIT--- I'm kidding about that, you can catch your own lil fuzzy friends. I am seriously jealous though. I need to move somewhere cooler.
